The values of all the Fringe Master parameters which can be adjusted by the user are stored in a set-up file which is loaded automatically when the software is loaded. This file is up-dated automatically when any values are adjusted and written to disc to ensure data security in the event of power failure or other system problems.
Parameters stored in the set-up file include the interferometer and analysis wavelength, window position, video gain and off-set values, image processing constants, OPD scaling, etc.
To simplify system set-up, Fringe Master supports multiple set-up files to enable different users to invoke various standard configurations without the need to re-set parameter values explicitly. Simply clicking on the required set-up file loads all the relevant values as required.
