Fringe Masterä integrates static fringe analysis with advanced phase shifting capability within the same user interface. This "one system" approach ensures that the system is extremely easy to use whilst giving unique versatility and performance.
The concept of Fringe Masterä is that static fringe tracking and phase shift analysis are simply different routes to obtaining an OPD (Optical Path Difference) map of the surface being measured. Once the OPD data is calculated, all the analysis and measurement functions are shared in common, along with file handling, data output, report generation, etc. This makes Fringe Masterä the most productive fringe analysis tool available, both in terms of versatility and ease of use.
All the image processing functions required for reliable tracking of static fringes are operated from a single button, "FindFrs" from the top level user screen. In the same way, the "Phase calc" button controls all the automatic phase shifter calibration operations and multiple image grabs required for phase analysis. "Calc OPD" then determines the OPD surface map, and from then on the two data paths are identical.
If you just need static analysis for now, no problem! The static-only version provides a low-cost entry level, with phase shifting available as a simple upgrade when your requirements develop.
