All of the main options required for the operation of Fringe Master, image acquisition, fringe tracking, OPD calculation, etc., are available from the top level screen with a single mouse click or from the keyboard.
The top level screen shows the live video input (top left), detected fringes (top right), OPD map (lower left) and OPD 3-D plot (lower right). A summary of the OPD and r.m.s. measurements are displayed at the bottom of the screen and more detailed analysis functions are available from the analysis sub-menu.
If low contrast, noisy images must be analysed, Fringe Master is supplied with an extensive library of "built in" image and fringe editing and processing functions.
All analysis operations, including image grabbing and processing, fringe tracking and editing, OPD calculation and hard copy output production, can be assembled into a sequence and activated with a single click of the "AUTO" button. This maximises productivity while minimising the need for the intervention of the operator.
